ICOMOS NC Israël : The 7th International Architectural Finishes Research Conference

The 7th international AFR Conference will take place at the Azrieli School of Architecture at The David and Yolanda Katz Department of the Arts, Tel Aviv University, October 2020. Previous conferences have defined research into architectural finishes as Architectural Paint Research (APR). We believe it is time to expand the definition of our research to include all architectural finishes. The current conference we will be addressing it as Architectural Finishes Research (AFR). As Always, The conference will be hosting a number of sessions, as well as a day of tours and a gala reception.

ICOMOS Spain, IPCE and ARESPA: COP25 event: Climate Change and Heritage

COP25 (Climate Summit 2019) promotes the concentration in Madrid of many experts on climate change. These meetings of experts (from ICOMOS International and Spain) on climatic factors and their relationship with culture and heritage are an opportunity to meet professionals from the IPCE, the Ministry of Ecological Transition and ARESPA, at seat of the Institution of the Ministry of Culture.

ICOMOS General Assembly 2020: Victoria Falls Application Deadline

For ICOMOS members in some regions of the world, the cost of travelling to Sydney in 2020 may be an expense that neither the National Committee nor its members can afford.

Financial assistance to attend GA2020 will be provided thanks to the ICOMOS Victoria Falls – Mosi-oa Tunya Solidarity Fund and a generous grant from the Getty Foundation.

The Scientific Symposium Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for the ICOMOS 20th General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (ICOMOS GA2020) to be held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, Australia from 5 – 9 October 2020. The Scientific Symposium offers a major research, information sharing, training and capacity-building opportunity for delegates, who will be able to present and attend papers, seminars, workshops, site visits and other session.
