Message from Sue Hodges, President of ICIP, on 4 April 2020:
“It iswith great regret that I am writing on behalf of the ICIP Board toannounce the cancellation of the 2020 conference in Angkor. This decision hasbeen difficult, but we’ve made it in light of the many uncertainties in theworld at the moment due to COVID-19 and the impossibility of predicting whatthe rest of the year will entail.
Thank you to everyone who submitted an abstract; we had a very enthusiasticresponse. As soon as the COVID-19 crisis is over we’ll investigate running aconference, perhaps again in Angkor. We will also see if we can do avirtual event of some kind this year; we will keep in touch. “
The Board of the ICOMOS International Committee for the Interpretation and Presentation of Cultural Heritage Sites (ICIP) is pleased to announce the ICOMOS Interpretation 2020 Conference at Angkor, Cambodia. The conference will take place on September 28th and 29th 2020 with pre-conference tours on September 26th and 27th.
