ICOMOS-UK will be holding a one day International Conference on 22nd October to mark the 50th Anniversary of ICOMOS and ICOMOS-UK. The aim of the event is to look forward to the next fifty years and it will focus on the influence of cultural heritage on social and economic development.
The event is being hosted by Arup at their Headquarters in London. The keynote speaker is the HRH the Aga Khan who will speak on the work of the Aga Khan Development Network around the world in supporting sustainable futures for local communities in both urban and rural landscapes, while respecting and enhancing cultural traditions. We are also arranging video links to allow presentations from India and China.
