The Railway Heritage Preservation Conference – originally planned for 25/26/27 November2021 – has generated an unexpected level of interest among specialists. In response to our callfor papers, we received numerous abstracts at both the national and international levels. Weare sure this will make for a high-quality and exciting programme and are delighted and highlymotivated by the response!
Unfortunately, we must inform you that we have decided to postpone the event. Given the current development of the Covid-19 pandemic and the related protection measures, the risk thatthe conference cannot be held or can only be held in a greatly reduced form has become toogreat. Hosting the conference on a smaller scale or virtually is not an option because the conference has been conceived with the specific aim of generating lively discussion and personalexchange between the participants.
For this reason the conference has been postponed. Our preparations will continue undisturbed. The project team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
